Distance learning in nine border municipalities of the Belgorod Region, as well as in Belgorod and the Yakovlevsky District, has been extended until March 24, 2023. This was announced by the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov. According to Mr. Gladkov, the writing of the final essay for the eleventh-graders of the border regions and Belgorod will be postponed from December to January. Graduates will be transported in an organized manner to safe locations to take the exam.
Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov expressed the hope that parents understand the need for such a decision: “Of course, there is discomfort, great discomfort, worries about what kind of knowledge our children will receive. But still, the most important thing is the life, health and safety of our children.” https://vk.com/gladkov_vv?w=wall639631882_696260. He promised that the authorities would assist in obtaining the necessary knowledge for each child.
After the shelling of the Belgorod region, which became more frequent this autumn, the school holidays began earlier than usual, on October 17th. A week before, all schools, colleges and universities of the regional center and nine municipalities translated for distance learning. The decision was explained by the action of an increased level of terrorist threat.
