Disputes continue about where and how Yevgeny Prigozhin can be buried, although there is no official confirmation of his death. Since the date has not yet been determined, and the body has not been handed over to the relatives, the ceremony will definitely not take place according to Orthodox traditions on the third day after death. At the moment, it is not yet clear “how long the examinations and actions related to the investigation will be,” Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation.

The necropolis in Mytishchi was created specifically for the burial of retired and current high-ranking employees of the Armed Forces of Russia, the USSR and citizens with especially important state merits.

But there are certain exceptions: if there is a will of the deceased to be buried somewhere else, or such a desire is expressed by one of his relatives.

In St. Petersburg, the heroes were traditionally buried at the Serafimovskoye memorial cemetery, however, by order of the governor, the deceased members of the NWO from the Northern capital mainly receive places on the territory of the Beloostrovsky cemetery. The object is located in the village of Pesochnoye in the Kurortny district, in general, not close. And it is unlikely that Prigozhin’s relatives will want to choose this place.

All the current experts whom I called to clarify the possible places of burial of the head of the Wagner PMC refused to talk about this topic: we don’t want to guess what they say – it will be so.

The PMC members who died near Bakhmut (Artemovsk) in the bulk are not there – black monuments to Wagner have appeared in Samara and Yekaterinburg in recent months. And the day of Prigozhin’s death in a plane crash mysteriously coincided with the opening of another memorial at the Gusinobrodsky cemetery in Novosibirsk. “There are 357 graves here, all from under Bakhmut,” local journalists said. 602 “musicians” lie under the Goryachiy Klyuch in the village of Baku.
