Discord will allow streaming games from Xbox – Kommersant

Voice service Discord announced that users of the app on Xbox will be able to stream games from the console. The feature will roll out to all users in the coming months and is currently only available to Xbox Insider users.
The new function will be built into the control panel in the chat section, when connected to Discord, it will be possible to start broadcasting the game. You won’t be able to watch broadcasts from Xbox. On Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, Discord became available in mid-2022, now on Xbox you can connect directly to Discord without a mobile phone or PC.
In May 2021, Sony acquired a stake in Discord after Microsoft failed to negotiate a purchase of the voice service. In March 2023, Discord also appeared and on PlayStation 5.
