TASS reports that sports commentator Vladimir Pisarevsky has died at the age of 87.
The agency refers to information from the daughter of the commentator Anastasia Pisarevskaya.
Farewell to her father, according to her, will take place on February 21, Pisarevsky will be buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery in Moscow.
Vladimir Pisarevsky was a hockey player in the 1950s, he played for Moscow Dynamo, Chelyabinsk Traktor, Voskresensky Khimik.
After graduating from a sports career, he went to work at the USSR State Radio and Television. Pisarevsky covered major hockey events, reporting from 26 world championships, as well as the 1972 Super Series.
