At the age of 74, the famous radio host, writer and translator Leonid Volodarsky died. It is reported by “Moscow speaking”.

Volodarsky made single-voiced translations of many foreign films that appeared on Soviet and Russian screens in the 1980s and early 1990s. He was remembered for his characteristic voice, he was called “a translator with a clothespin on his nose.”
He was also one of the first to translate the works of Stephen King and many other writers into Russian.
