On December 28, journalist Vladimir Luskanov, head of the information service of the Kultura TV channel and winner of the TEFI award, died.
The journalist was 67 years old. The press service of the TV channel said that farewell to Luskanov will take place at the Troekurovsky cemetery on December 30 at 13:00.
Since 1993, Luskanov worked for NTV, where he served as a correspondent and socio-political observer for the programs Segodnya and Itogi, and also led the column Un Certain Regard. In 1995, the journalist won the TEFI award in the Best Reporter nomination for reporting on the war in Chechnya.
From 2001 to 2013, Luskanov was the executive producer of the TV program Vesti-Moscow, and since 2013 he has been in charge of the information service of the Kultura channel.
