A cunning way to expose the bloggers who offended him was tested by the famous epidemiologist German Shipulin, the developer of domestic PCR tests. In the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, he was accused of biased criticism and even opposition to the introduction of Russian vaccines. But in order to protect his name, the candidate of medical sciences had to go to the trick.
As it became known to MK, the scandal erupted on September 7, 2021. In the Telegram channel, an unknown person wrote a post in which he exposed Shipulin in unconstructive criticism of the domestic COVID-19 vaccine and even some fraud. Since the doctor also holds a responsible position in the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, he considered that even a small post in a little popular channel harms his reputation. The offended scientist filed a lawsuit to recognize the note as untrue. The Perovsky court sided with Shipulin, but the channel administrator was in no hurry to remove the false publication. Moreover, it was even impossible to understand who is responsible for the content of the telegram channel, there was no information about the administrator on the channel page.
Then the scientist made an original move – through third parties, he offered to place ads in the telegram channel. The administrator fell for this bait – he declassified himself by mail, sending his first and last name, as well as bank details for transferring funds for an advertising publication. After that, it was possible to make demands already to a specific person. For the second time, Shipulin appealed to the Reutov City Court – and again won. This time, not an abstract channel, but its owner will be obliged to remove publications that discredit the epidemiologist. By the way, the doctor did not rest on this: he filed another lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity in order to punish the blogger with a ruble.
