There will be no new wave of mobilization in Russia this fall. About this publication RTVI said the deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Defense, Yuri Shvytkin. He believes that the needs of the army will be completely covered by Russians going to serve under a contract.
“There will be no mobilization. As of today, mobilization is not expected – neither the second, nor the third stage, nor general. All these orders that are allegedly issued are fake,” said the Russian parliamentarian.
In addition, the deputy recalled the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who stated that over the past seven months, about 270 thousand Russians signed contracts with the Ministry of Defense. The head of state clarified that every day up to 1.5 thousand people become contract soldiers.
