The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to attack the Samum missile ship with an unmanned boat. About it reported at the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The attack took place in the Black Sea. “During repelling the attack, the enemy’s unmanned boat was destroyed by fire from the ship’s standard weapons,” the ministry added.
The small missile ship “Samum” is part of the 41st brigade of missile boats of the Crimean naval base of the Black Sea Fleet. It was put into operation in 2000.
Earlier today the Ministry of Defense also reported about repelling an attack by an unmanned boat. On the morning of September 14, it was reported that 11 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Crimea.
On the night of September 13, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 10 cruise missiles at Sevastopol, seven of them were shot down by air defenses, the Ministry of Defense reported. As a result of the missile hits, two ships undergoing repairs were damaged. To the Ministry of Defense assuredthat damaged ships will be restored.
