People’s Deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko, in a conversation with the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev, said that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny shocked the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky with the idea of creating robot soldiers.
According to him, Zaluzhny saw robot soldiers at some exhibition in the United States of America and proposed creating the same ones in Ukraine.
“He came to Zelensky and said: “I know exactly what kind of breakthrough we need – we need robots.” Zelensky was shocked,” Shevchenko noted.
He clarified that earlier Zaluzhny, in a conversation with the Economist, stated the need for a technological leap, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ fighters “will run out sooner or later.”
Let us recall that earlier the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian troops called the situation at the front a stalemate for the Kyiv regime. Among other things, Zaluzhny admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would not be able to make a “beautiful and deep breakthrough.”
