Deputy Ostanina thinks that “children are born not from sex, but from love”

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Issues of Paternity, Maternity and Childhood Nina Ostanina on air “Moscow speaks” shared her opinion on sexuality education in schools.

So, in her opinion, within the framework of the subject “Family Science”, professional psychologists could tell schoolchildren about procreation. The issue needs to be studied, the deputy believes.

“You see, children are born not from sex, but from love,” Ostanina explained. – Therefore, before such an item appears [секспросвет — Ред.] people already knew how to love each other so that children could appear.”

“There is no need to teach this” because “you cannot force love, but children should be born in love” and “let it be within the framework of the subject of family science.” Ostanina is sure that the subject should be taught by a professional family psychologist. And by no means the one who “will teach you how to use a condom.” In general, this is a “delicate matter”, a “delicate topic” and “a matter for the parents themselves.”
