Residents of Russia who left the country against the background of partial mobilization will pay an increased tax. Its size will increase up to 30%. This was announced by a member of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Yevgeny Fedorov.
The deputy explained that when a citizen leaves the country and is not in it for a long time, he loses the status of a resident of Russian taxation, the period of which is six months.
In this regard, the tax will be increased from 13 to 30%, since from a legal point of view, the employer hires a foreign citizen.
At the same time, Fedorov noted that he sees no point in tightening tax laws for those who left Russia, which was mentioned by Federation Council member Andrey Klishas.
