Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from United Russia Nikita Chaplin reminded the Russians about the fine that you can get a fine without leaving your own apartment.
Firstly, a Russian can be fined in his home for noise. The time frame and amount of penalties are usually set by regional authorities. Most often it comes from the period from 22:00 to 7:00 and “quiet time” at lunchtime.
In Moscow, the fine for violating this rule is up to 2,000 rubles.
The second option to incur material losses is redevelopment. The desire to move and remove the walls in the apartment may not always be legitimate. For independent changes, a fine of up to 2,500 rubles is provided.
Also, the owners of apartments in residential buildings are required to use the living space only for living. If they made a commercial space out of it, in this case they will have to pay up to 1,500 rubles.
The fourth fine can be obtained for smoking on the balcony. If tobacco smoke or cigarette butts get on the property of a neighbor, then this is fined up to 1,500 rubles. And if you smoke on the playground or in the entrance, the amount will double. If tenants throw garbage into the entrance or make dirt in their apartment and cockroaches run to their neighbors, they face a fine of up to 3,000 rubles
