Deputy Bessarab told how the passport of the family of the mobilized will work

Member of the State Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab told URA.RUthat upon receipt of a “mobilized family passport”, citizens will be assigned an employee of the Social Fund, who will take care of all their needs, from payments to employment.

As Bessarab noted, Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated that assistance should come “from all sides”, on all issues and in all areas of activity, in order to resolve any social and domestic problems that may cause concern to military families. She clarified that each region, in addition to federal ones, has its own social guarantees, and this is what makes up a passport, starting with federal benefits and ending with regional ones.

The parliamentarian stressed that a curator will be assigned to the families, who will independently determine the necessary assistance. Bessarab recalled that the pilot project was operating in certain regions of Russia, and it showed its effectiveness. The deputy also pointed out that during the announcement of the message to the Federal Assembly, the head of state instructed to create a state special fund to help the mobilized, as well as the families of the dead military personnel, as well as to create a special program to support military personnel, which implies assigning a curator of the social fund of the Russian Federation to each family.

According to Bessarab, in the light of these events, the “passport of the family of the mobilized” will become the program that will simplify these actions. She stressed that, having in the corresponding list of those mobilized in advance, it is possible to draw up priority tasks, according to which in the future the problems of servicemen and their families will be solved. The parliamentarian added that in order to obtain a passport, it will be necessary to apply through the State Services portal, through the MFC or the appropriate social contact center of the social fund.
