They want to introduce into the Labor Code an obligation under which experienced employees will pass on their knowledge to young ones. As reported by “Russian newspaper“, the Russian Tripartite Commission will consider the bill on December 15.
According to Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, this bill deserves attention, since it is the mentor who can quickly and efficiently convey all the information to a new employee.
But at the same time, Safonov believes that such a proposal deserves a separate chapter in the Labor Code, since this is a special organization of labor relations, in which questions may arise regarding remuneration or responsibility for the student.
The new bill involves amendments to articles 60.2 “Combining professions (positions)” and 151 “Remuneration for combining professions (positions)”.
Employers also need to talk separately with employees about the specifics of this bill. Explain what responsibilities need to be performed and provide minimum guarantees of pay and vacation.
