Deputies proposed giving the lands of Siberia to the families of the SVO participants: “So that there is no shame”

According to the authors of the initiative, such a step will “collapse the artificially inflated market”

State Duma deputies called for the redistribution of land from landowners to the people. Moreover, the initiative with the Far Eastern and Arctic hectares should be extended to the territory of Siberia. Moreover, free hectares there should first of all be given to participants in a special military operation. “So that while they are bringing our victory closer, the family has already received a hectare and a house with a military mortgage at 1-2% has already begun to be built,” emphasized State Duma deputy Oleg Nilov at the Novosibirsk forum of the ARNS “Spatial Development and Demography in Russia,” which brought together representatives ROC, the public, officials and governors.

– The bill is under consideration by the Government. It concerns, first of all, the families of those killed in the North Military District and disabled people in the North Military District,” said Oleg Nilov, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, to MK. – In reality, such projects are implemented extremely rarely. A successful experience as a breakthrough in the construction of low-rise Russia was achieved in the Belgorod region. In addition, in a separate region – the Chechen Republic – the land issue is resolved without any federal legislation.

Each SVO participant is planned to be allocated up to a hectare of land according to the Far Eastern scheme for free, plus a mortgage at 1-2%. Land according to the Far Eastern scheme is expected to be provided in all regions, with the exception of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol – where there are not many available hectares.

– According to your bill, can any land be distributed?

– There is no need to give out land hundreds of kilometers from regional centers – this is a mockery, and not the implementation of good intentions. Land should be provided in the immediate vicinity of cities and central towns. There must be a road and electricity to these areas. And then let the owner of the land decide for himself in which direction to develop: individual housing construction, farming or tourism. This must be done immediately, starting with regions where a huge amount of land is overgrown and lost. This is most regions of the country.

The right to choose sites should remain with citizens. If this is implemented for SVO participants, it will be possible to do this for everyone else, starting with preferential categories: military veterans, labor, large families. So that there is no such shame when people wait for years for land to be provided to them to build a house, a dacha or a personal subsidiary plot.

– Why doesn’t the government approve such a good initiative, what’s the problem?

– The artificially inflated land market in Russia will collapse. Today’s would-be latifundists, the owners of millions of hectares of land, are not interested in this, nor are the officials who sit on this land and do not want to lose both white income to the municipal budget and gray income that goes past the cash register. The second reason: if land is provided to the majority of those who want it, then in big cities they will have to get into mortgage bondage. Developers of the construction of “human buildings” of urban housing are categorically against the creation of such competition.
