Deputies Kartapolov and Piskarev asked the Prosecutor General’s Office to deal with the supply of the rear

Chairman of the State Duma Committees on Defense Andrei Kartapolov and Security and Anti-Corruption Vasily Piskarev appealed to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to look into the supply of the rear.

“Two chairmen of our committees — on security and on defense — wrote a letter to the prosecutor general asking him to figure out where all this had gone in the rear, because the financing of the rear was made in the past in full. Attention, the question is: where? Andrey Gurulev, a member of the State Duma Committee on Defense, said on the air of the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

Partial mobilization in Russia has been carried out since September 21. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that they intended to recruit 300,000 reservists into the armed forces. On October 4, he announced that over 200,000 people had been called up.

On October 5, Andrey Kartapolov, on the air of the Soloviev Live program, said that the Ministry of Defense “needs to stop lying” about the course of the special operation. “Our people are not stupid. And he sees that they do not want to tell him even a part of the truth. This can lead to a loss of credibility,” spoke Mr Kartapolov.
