Press Service of the Department of Health of the City of Moscow reportedthat in the capital there is a decrease in the incidence of influenza and SARS.
Thus, the increase in incidence among the adult population over the past week was 0%, the increase in hospitalizations fell by 15%.
Among children, the incidence decreased by 10%, and the number of hospitalizations by 15%.
Now in city hospitals 30% of beds are free for patients with influenza and SARS. In addition, a separate entrance to polyclinics has been organized for patients with viral diseases, and the number of health workers allows them to cope with the high burden on the healthcare system, the Department of Health said.
The ministry also expressed hope that the peak incidence of influenza and SARS has passed.
