At the same time, it is obvious that it is extremely difficult to prove such abuse legally. But the Kremlin press secretary Peskov, MP Markov and all of us can be understood – after all, Russia was literally overwhelmed by a wave of … how to say? .. “denunciations”, “statements”, “appeals”.
In 2022, Roskomnadzor received 298,076 applications from citizens only. Apart from other government agencies. The department’s website notes: “Most of it related to the dissemination of illegal information on the Internet and restriction of access to sites” – 2 times more than in 2021 (https://rkn.gov.ru/treatments/p436).
Here is an example of pure “ideological”. The famous socialite regularly posts photos and stories of her breakfasts, served on vintage auction-bought china dishes, in luxurious, super-expensive floral bouquets. In social networks, they calculated that one such breakfast is the monthly salary of an average Russian. But for her, it’s a penny.
Once she saw and heard the performances of poets at the Mayakovsky Readings. One of them she didn’t particularly like. And she publicly demanded to take “measures of influence” against him. Soon, special forces entered the poet’s apartment, now he is in a pre-trial detention center, awaiting trial.
Who is he to her? What is he to her? Nobody, nothing, no call. Should she, successful and rich, assert herself at the expense of some guy? Ridiculous… Nevertheless – scribbles a public… public “statement”.
So, pure ideology?
If we evaluate the statistics and examples, then it seems that in Russia “everyone writes about everyone.” Including students to teachers, and teachers to students. Such a conclusion can also be drawn from the “Appeal” of the council of the “Teacher” trade union to teachers – about the “wrong” children’s drawing at a school lesson in fine arts:
“We believe that teachers should always act in the best interests of the child. Without this, it is impossible to work at school, it is impossible to build trusting relationships with students and their parents. No child’s drawing can be sufficient grounds for violating the rights of the child… Our task is to resolve difficult situations in the interests of children and without the involvement of government agencies… Our students must be sure that we will respect their statements, regardless of whether do we agree with them. Perhaps teachers resort to … this because they are afraid that if they do not take such measures, then someone will “write” on them?
And recently, State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman told the press that it is necessary to bring to criminal and administrative responsibility citizens who keep cash in the amount of 1 million rubles or more without notifying the tax authority and explaining the origin (https://www.interfax.ru/russia/896316). To the question of how exactly such citizens would be identified, the legislator answered: “The earth is full with a knock…”
It seems that the authorities have begun to think about this as well. Evidence of this is the upcoming bill on the introduction of administrative liability for citizens who abuse the right to file complaints with state bodies. And, finally, a loud statement at the Knowledge marathon by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation: “As for denunciations, it was disgusting as always, it is, and I hope it will be so.”
It is important here that it comes from the heights of supreme power, and that a categorical moral and ethical assessment is given.
