Poland intends to purchase 22 AW101 multi-purpose helicopters in order to replace post-Soviet equipment. This was announced by the Minister of National Defense of the country Mariusz Blaszczak on his page on the social network.
“Today we sent an invitation to negotiate the supply of 22 AW101 multi-purpose helicopters, which will soon replace post-Soviet equipment,” Blaschak wrote.
It is worth noting that Warsaw previously announced the start of deliveries of AW101 helicopters in the anti-submarine version.
