Four teams competed in two rounds
In the Ethnocultural Center of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, a difficult and interesting tournament on games of deer bones “Vözhzhövöy” (“Forward”) was held. Pupils of 5 A and 5 B classes of the Secondary School No. 4 of Naryan-Mar with in-depth study of individual subjects and the Nenets Secondary School named after A.P. competed among themselves. Before the tournament, specialists from the Komi Culture Department introduced each class to the rules of the game and explained the history of traditional deer-bone games.
Four teams competed in two rounds: the first – “Nuöd kör-doddya” (“Drive the team”), the second – “Kut kör” (“Catch the deer”). Before the tournament, each team chose its captain and name, according to the official page of the NAO Ethnocultural Center in Contact.
Tournament judges Dmitry Bezumov and Alexander Ledkov strictly followed the rules of the game.
Each team wanted to win, the guys were overwhelmed with emotions. Someone has gone off the track. But the winner of “Vözhzhövöy” (“Forward”) in each round is only one. In the first round, the 5 B class became the winner, in the second round – the 5 A class of the Secondary School No. 4.
