A new explosion of domestic gas in a residential five-story building – this time in Novosibirsk. As a result of the incident, which occurred at 7:40 am local time, the entrance to a five-story building with 15 apartments collapsed. Among the victims in Novosibirsk were a young mother and her two-year-old baby. The woman died on her birthday, February 9th.
As of 15:00 on February 9, the Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 7 people, including a 2-year-old child. This child turned out to be the daughter of Nadezhda Belik, who herself died …
Immediately after the incident, neighbors and relatives rushed to look for Nadezhda with the baby. Later, their bodies were found under the rubble … They say that Nadezhda’s husband survived, eyewitnesses of the tragedy saw him at the scene, the man was in a state of shock.
“The family is the kingdom of the father, the world of the mother and the paradise of the child,” Nadezhda signed a series of photos on the social network with her husband Konstantin and daughter. She dedicated touching poems to her husband, posting them on her page. “Well, I like this girl, I don’t want her to grow up so fast,” Nadezhda signed a photo of her daughter in one of her posts. Now her words can be regarded as some kind of monstrous prophecy…
“We met her at work in Moscow, in a clothing store in one of the shopping centers,” says her friend Olga. – She was very responsible, attentive … Then she quit her job and began working in the salon as a nail service master. I often went to her, did beauty procedures with her. Then, about 8 years ago, Nadia left for Novosibirsk. We continued to keep in touch with her, congratulated each other on holidays …
Nadia was hardworking, she was praised at work. Serious, kind, humble. By the way, she changed a lot outwardly when she left Moscow, she began to pay more attention to her appearance, she looked after herself very much, she became even prettier …
We contacted another former colleague of Nadezhda, and it turned out that in recent years she worked at Vimpelcom PJSC as a sales manager for legal entities. For several years she and her husband lived in Novokuznetsk. Then Konstantin was transferred to work in Novosibirsk. Nadezhda gave birth and was on maternity leave at the time of the tragedy… “Nadya was very sociable, sympathetic, friendly,” her colleagues say about her. “This is a terrible shock… A terrible injustice.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and Energy of the Novosibirsk Region asked in the morning in local public pages “in the current conditions, trust only official information.” And they themselves provided it: “This house has 4 entrances, 60 apartments. The house was supplied with liquefied gas from a gas distribution plant. Diagnostics of in-house gas equipment was carried out by a specialized organization in September 2022. All circumstances of maintenance, repair and inspection of equipment, as well as actions by consumers and regulatory authorities will be established during the investigation of the incident.
