Until the verdict comes into force, Daria Trepova, sentenced to 27 years in prison, accused in the case of a terrorist attack in a cafe in St. Petersburg, will remain in pre-trial detention. Earlier, the Shot Telegram channel reported that Daria Trepova could be transferred to IK-2 in the village of Ulyanovka in the Leningrad Region due to overcrowding in the pre-trial detention center.

“The stage in a Russian colony is possible only after the verdict comes into legal force,” a representative of the press service of the FSIN department for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region told RIA Novosti.

Now Daria Trepova and Dmitry Kasintsev, accused of harboring her, are in pre-trial detention center-5 in St. Petersburg. They will remain there until the verdict comes into force. The presiding judge of the 2nd Western District Military Court, Timur Zhidkov, spoke about this during the announcement of the verdict.

Today, January 27, Telegram channel with reference to a source, he reported that Daria Trepova will be kept in the Moscow pre-trial detention center-2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia (Lefortovo) until the verdict comes into force. If the detention center is overcrowded, as the channel reported, she could be transferred to women’s correctional colony No. 2 in the village of Ulyanovka, Tosnensky district, Leningrad region, or IK-5 in Mozhaisk.
