Representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate must leave the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra on March 29. This was stated by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in an interview with Radio NV on March 28.

He stressed that all laws of the state must be observed, and the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is a museum owned by the state. Therefore, all issues relating to this museum complex should be decided by the state, and not by individuals.

Danilov stressed that there would be no violence, and the museum complex would continue its work. However, all church issues will be resolved in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.

“In the end, if everything that happens in the world is the hand of God, then the fact that the UOC-MP should leave the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra on March 29 is also a manifestation of the will of God,” he said.
