Daily Mail: King Charles III’s wife Camilla decided to officially call the Queen

Daily Mail claimsthat Buckingham Palace decided to “raise” the title of the wife of King Charles III of Great Britain Camilla. Citing sources, the publication writes that soon the second wife of the monarch will be called “Queen”, abandoning the current official designation of Camilla “Queen Consort”.
“The change is likely to be approved after the coronation in May (May 6 – MK), according to well-informed sources,” the publication says.
According to one of the sources, the Palace feel that the title of “Queen Consort” is cumbersome, “and perhaps it would be easier if Camilla was perceived simply as a queen when the time came.”
The DM points out that the first signs of Camille’s “title” transformation are already visible. So, last week she relaunched her charity literary project “Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room” (“Reading Room of the Duchess of Cornwall”) and presented it as “Queen’s Reading Room” (“Queen’s Reading Room”), without the addition of “consort”.
The DM post also references Camilla’s past difficulties with the royal family and the path she has traveled from “secret” friend of the Prince of Wales to the king’s wife, gaining more and more recognition.
