Dagestan State University won the republican stage of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” among students of educational organizations of higher education and professional educational organizations.
Competitions were held on November 26-27 in Makhachkala at the stadium named after Elena Isinbayeva, according to the Ministry of Sports of Dagestan.
Silver went to the Dagestan State University of National Economy, and the third place went to the Dagestan State Technical University.
Among the colleges, the most successful was the Kizlyar Professional Pedagogical College. The second and third places were taken respectively by the Kizlyar Electromechanical College and the Derbent College of Economics and Law.
“In total, 20 students from DSU took part in the competition,” Yusup Yusupov, chairman of the Furia student sports club, told the MK in Dagestan correspondent. “Patina Gadzhiyeva was recognized as the best at the end of the event in our team.”
