Dagestani Sharip Kudavasov climbed to the top at the Russian Championship

The Russian Combat Sambo Championship among juniors aged 18-20 has ended in Kazan. The center of attention was the Dagestan sambo wrestler Sharip Kudavasov, who was able to climb to the highest step of the podium in the weight category up to 79 kg.
Kudasov, representing Dagestan, showed outstanding results at the tournament, winning a gold medal. This success paved the way for him to the world championship, which will be held in October in Cyprus.
But Sharip was not the only Dagestani who attracted attention at this competition. His compatriots Saigid Bagilov (98 kg) and Sergey Gadzhiev (88 kg) also showed excellent results, becoming silver medalists of the tournament.
The press service of the Republic’s Ministry of Sports emphasized that the success of these athletes is the result of their hard work and constant training. They also expressed hope that these young athletes will continue their winning traditions on the international stage.
