Dagestan is preparing for the construction of the first yacht club

As part of a direct line with the head of the region, Mukhtar Omarov, President of the Sailing Federation of the Republic of Dagestan, presented Sergei Melikov with the idea of creating the first yacht club in Dagestan. Omarov is confident that the yacht club in the Caspian Sea will be actively used and contribute to the development of water sports in the region.
In the near future, Omarov plans to prepare all the necessary documentation and select a suitable location for construction. He expressed gratitude to the head of the republic for supporting this project, admitting that he had long dreamed of creating a yacht club in the republic.
Omarov hopes that the first stone in the foundation of the yacht club will be laid in the year of the 90th anniversary of the legendary navigator Evgeny Gvozdev, who twice circumnavigated the world under the flags of Russia and Dagestan. This will be a symbolic step in honor of the great navigator and a new stage in the development of sailing in Dagestan.
