The failure of the hydraulic compensator on the water pipeline supplying Buinaksk left the city without water for two days. More than 30 thousand citizens were left without water, including almost 11 thousand children. 20 socially significant facilities were shut down.
According to the message city hall Buinaksk, emergency work will be completed this evening. Tomorrow, during the day, water will be collected in reservoirs, and only by 6:00 on Friday, December 8, water supply is expected to be restored.
Water will be delivered to consumers as applications are received by the local Gorvodokanal.
As the publication reported “Youth of Dagestan”the construction of a new water pipeline to replace the severely dilapidated one from the Chirkey reservoir to Buinaksk with a service life of 50 years is planned to be completed in 2024.
