Employees of correctional facility No. 1 took to the ice field to compete in a relatively new sport that recently became an Olympic sport.

The battle turned out to be serious in terms of the severity of the struggle and the reaction of numerous fans. The frosty weather did not in any way affect the fighting spirit of the players or the mood of the spectators, who supported their teams with cheerful chants and prepared posters.

As Stanislav Soloviev, deputy head of penal colony No. 1, noted, curling was not chosen by chance. After all, this is a team game that develops attention, speed of reaction and, of course, the ability to think outside the box.

Friendship won, as always in such cases. We dedicated sports competitions to the 145th anniversary of the penal system.
