Crimeans shared the horror of the wave of “mining” and evacuations of schools and kindergartens

For the second day, Crimea has been shaken by an avalanche of reports from anonymous sources about the mining of schools and kindergartens. On Monday, the mentioned children’s educational institutions were already evacuated and thoroughly checked, but nothing suspicious was found. But on Tuesday morning, the threats were repeated and the wave of evacuations in different parts of the peninsula began again.

According to the Crimean authorities, anonymous threats about planted explosive devices began with the children’s and educational institutions of Kerch, then spread to Bakhchisarai and Evpatoria, as well as the Leninsky and Krasnogvardeisky regions of the peninsula. On each signal, the specified institution is urgently evacuated and checks are carried out, until all alarms, fortunately, turned out to be false. On Tuesday afternoon, colleges were added to the kindergartens and schools mentioned by the anonymous terrorists.

– We have been on the volcano for the second day already, – says a mother from Lenino, which is 160 km from Simferopol. “Children just run to and from school. Just check, return to class, and again the alarm. My sister is in Simferopol, they also have anonymous threatening calls, but they sort of checked their school at night, and today everyone is studying as usual. It would be better if the holidays were announced ahead of schedule. And that’s one nerve.

“I have a third-grader, you won’t leave one, and no one will let me and my husband leave work on such an occasion,” says a mother from the city of Saki. “But we got out of the way. We agreed with one cheerful granny from our class, she is still sitting with her granddaughter, and for now we will bring our own to her in the morning. Already 7 people were recruited from our parallel. Let everyone do it together. You will go crazy from running to school and back!

Meanwhile, parents of pupils and pupils of institutions, shaken by anxieties, created an “evacuation” chat on social networks, where they exchange opinions and doubts. Every hour there is a roll call, starting with the name of the settlement: “Bakhchisaray, our school was evacuated yesterday and today.” “Chernomorsky district, similarly, for the second time today.” “Scientific urban-type settlement, evacuation of school and kindergarten in the morning.” “Pyatikhatka village, evacuated.” “Vilino, Bakhchisaray district, the school was evacuated at 9 am.” “Izobilnoe, Nizhnegorsky district, was evacuated today at 11.49.” Similar reports come from Feodosia, Evpatoria, Mezhvodnoye, from the settlements of Oktyabrsky, Nizhnegorsky, Aleksandrovka, Mikhailovka and others. In many localities, according to excited parents, all existing schools and kindergartens had to be evacuated. From the communication of Kerch mothers and fathers, it is clear that many schools and kindergartens of the city were evacuated on Monday, and from 8 am on Tuesday they went around the second circle.

“The grandson is at home, there are tests at school,” says the grandmother of a fifth-grader from Kerch. – Well done, everything is carefully checked, at every signal! But I won’t let Grisha go to school today, let him study at home.

– And we started on Monday, – parents from Armyansk report. – The school was completely evacuated, then returned, but first they conducted an exercise with children and employees on how to quickly leave the building.

According to the Simferopol administration, in the Crimean capital, as well as in Sevastopol, there is no evacuation from educational institutions, although “information about a possible “mining” is being received and checked.” True, some students from Simferopol share in social networks that they were nevertheless allowed to go home from schools – “just in case a fireman”.

“Children are children, they are glad that they can not hang around at their desks,” say the parents of evacuated children from a school in the village of Zernovoy, Krasnogvardeisky District. But it’s better than scaring.

Almost all adults agree with this idea: let children better underestimate the danger than experience horror that can leave a mark for life.

– We have a wise school psychologist, – the mother of a student of one of the schools in the Saki district shares. – In order not to sow panic, I suggested to the headmistress that the alarm should be declared educational, and not real. Like, everyone will now learn to quickly leave school. Previously, they also had lessons in which they taught to put on a gas mask and go down to the bomb shelter, so that the younger ones were not scared. And the elders themselves understand everything. Although some parents are such alarmists, they wind up their children themselves. I watched one such mother: she wrings her hands, wails, what is happening … And she doesn’t even see that her second-grader daughter next to her swallows tears all this time, hiccups and already starts to choke – and this is already a panic attack.
