Crimean masters of jiu-jitsu brought 7 medals from the championship in Rostov-on-Don

The capital of the Rostov region hosted the Open Championship of Eurasia in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
More than a thousand athletes came to the competition, representing Russia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Abkhazia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan.
Jiu-jitsu masters competed in different age and weight categories, and representatives of the Simferopol mixed martial arts club “Tornado” performed very well, winning 7 medals, including 5 gold ones.
The “gold” of the championship went to David Shalimov, Andrey Panteleev, Muslim Kurtbedinov, Ivan Mytsykov and Alim Velilyaev. Two more Crimeans – Ruslan Asanov and Pavel Komissarov – stopped a step away from the first place, having won “silver”.
