Bundesliga continues to sell broadcasts of matches to Russia

Russian football fans are still able to legally watch German Bundesliga matches as television contracts in Russia have been extended for the next two seasons.
Despite sanctions imposed in connection with the conflict in Ukraine, the Bundesliga still receives millions in revenue from its Russian broadcasts, according to BILD.
According to the publication, the Bundesliga will receive a significant amount for the rights to television broadcasts in Russia next season, and the current contract covers two more seasons – 2023/24 and 2024/25. The matches will be broadcast by Match TV, which is controlled by Gazprom Media.
