Crimea received more than 10 thousand children from new regions and the Belgorod region

More than 10 thousand children from the annexed regions of the Russian Federation and the Belgorod region rested in Crimea over the summer, Kommersant was told in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to officials, a total of 55.4 thousand children rested in 30 country camps in Crimea during the summer holidays on preferential vouchers. In particular, 4,358 children were sent on vacation from the Zaporozhye region, 727 from the Kherson region, and more than 4,000 children from the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics. Also, almost 1.5 thousand children from the Belgorod region were accepted there.

Former head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov pointed outthat up to 1,000 children from the Belgorod region will come to Crimea for recreation and rehabilitation.
