Postal communication between the Crimean peninsula and the Zaporozhye region was restored, Kommersant was told in the government of the Republic of Crimea (RK).
According to officials of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, postal codes in the Zaporozhye region have already been brought to the Russian standard; communication with the peninsula, interrupted eight years ago, was restored on November 10. “Residents of the two subjects can again send letters and parcels to each other both at the address of residence and at the post office,” the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan specified.
The first trains with grain to the Crimea from Zaporozhye arrived over five months ago.
