Several containers with uniforms for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were detained by customs officers in Chita. According to “MK Chita”it had the insignia of the Ukrainian army, and also indicated the specific cities where the cargo was to be delivered.
Deputy Head of Customs Denis Vlaskin explained that the transit went through China to Poland.
“This was a special order – specific Ukrainian cities of delivery were indicated on the trunks,” the publication quotes customs officials as saying.
Currently, the competent authorities are continuing their inspection of the cargo.
Let us recall that at the end of November 2023, Russian customs officers prevented illegal export of 15 engines for infantry fighting vehicles.
