A seriously wounded tiger from Primorye will be sent to a hospice in the Leningrad region
One of the tigers captured in Primorye was wounded and therefore attacked the dogs. The Telegram channel writes about this Amur Mash with reference to the Amur Tiger Center.
During the treatment, veterinarians found an old gunshot wound: the bullet entered through the left shoulder blade and exited through the paw. But in this entire part of the body the tiger had a strong inflammatory process.
The predator could not hunt normally and therefore chose the easiest prey – village dogs.
Investigators will now find out who shot the red-listed species. A crippled tiger, which was caught in Primorye last December, will be transported to a hospice for disabled animals in the Leningrad region – it can no longer live in the wild.
Meanwhile, another brother of his was caught in the Lazo area and is being examined by veterinarians.
