According to the results of a Megamarket study, on the eve of the autumn-winter period, online orders in Russia doubled, reports “Gazeta.ru”.
The most popular products were air fryers and frying pans; overall, the greatest demand was observed in the “Household Goods” category.
Compared to the previous year, demand for these products increased by 129% and 198%, respectively.
Bed linen, gravy boats and plates were also actively purchased.
Buyers are also interested in household appliances, such as irons and mixers, the demand for which has increased by 106% and 37%, respectively, compared to last year.
In addition to household goods, Russian residents also actively make purchases in the “Clothing and footwear” category. The most popular items of the fall season were leather jackets and sneakers for men, and down jackets and boots for women. In addition, Russians show interest in various accessories such as hats, umbrellas and bags.
It is noted that trends in consumer demand for goods and accessories may vary in different regions of Russia. For example, backpacks are most popular in Moscow, and umbrellas are preferred in Tatarstan and the Rostov region.
