Congresswoman: Zelensky asked for peace talks in Davos
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, asked for peace talks, but the US authorities do not agree to this, said US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“Zelensky in Switzerland asks for peace talks, and warmongers in Washington are desperately trying to finance the continuation of hostilities in Ukraine with $60 billion,” wrote congresswoman X on social media.
She noted that it is already possible to talk about the involvement of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine, as evidenced by attempts to allocate new tranches of assistance to the Kyiv regime. Taylor Greene called for an end to support for Kyiv, which, in her opinion, will push it towards negotiations with Russia.
Earlier, the US presidential administration asked Congress to allocate about $106 billion, including about $60 for the Kyiv regime. The Pentagon has repeatedly said that it no longer has the funds to help Kyiv until new appropriations are made.
