State Duma deputies from United Russia received regular party recommendations on working with voters during the regional week. In addition to the already traditional themes of the special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine and the implementation of the people’s program (the party is working on this, despite external pressure and the need to solve problems in new territories), the document reflects the results of the party primaries. Parliamentarians are invited to congratulate the leaders of the vote and cheer those who could not win. Finally, United Russia members are advised to remind voters about the past June 1st Children’s Day and to celebrate with them the forthcoming June 12th Day of Russia.

Deputies of the faction “United Russia” (ER) in the State Duma before each regional week receive party recommendations on topics for communication with voters. Kommersant got acquainted with the materials prepared for the current regional week, which will last until June 11. United Russia members are again invited to communicate with the people within the framework of such “sense lines” as supporting the families of military personnel, providing all necessary fellow countrymen participating in the special operation, and implementing the party’s people’s program. The deputies, following the advice of the party, will once again remind voters about the unifying feeling of patriotism and the relevance of the slogan of the times of the Great Patriotic War “Everything for the front, everything for victory.” United Russia will tell the inhabitants of the regions in detail about the measures to support the participants of the SVO, adopted at the federal level (monetary allowance, credit holidays, various benefits, etc.). Party members are advised, when talking about the people’s program of the United Russia, to emphasize that its implementation is taking place despite external pressure. And even despite the fact that the party “sent forces to help new territories and actually began to work on two fronts,” the people’s program remains the main priority of the party. Deputies are advised to focus on gasification, the construction of kindergartens, the overhaul of schools and student dormitories, “which became possible thanks to the people’s program and amendments to the budget from United Russia.”

Last week, United Russia summed up the results of the preliminary voting (which took place from May 22 to 28), which could not but be reflected in the recommendations for deputies. They are advised not only to congratulate the winners, but also to cheer up the losers, conveying to them the idea that they are a personnel reserve and the ideological support of the party. And the winners, in addition to congratulations, will need to talk about the nuances and complexities of the upcoming election campaign. Also, the deputies at a meeting with the participants of the preliminary voting will talk about the fact that the primaries are finally entrenched in the Russian political system, the number of not only candidates, but also voters is growing every year. At the same time, “from year to year, a decreasing number of reports of violations are recorded, there are no more scandals related to the voting results.” The deputies are invited to talk about the main personnel principle of the United Russia: “new people should come into politics, “not bronzed”, with burning eyes and understanding how they want to change the world around them, improve people’s lives.” This time, among the winners of the primaries are 51 members of the SVO, as well as many who are associated with the humanitarian work of the party.

As for the upcoming June 12 Day of Russia, United Russia is advised to tell voters that it appeared more than 30 years ago “as a starting point for the beginning of the new history of the country” (the holiday is dedicated to the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of the RSFSR on June 12, 1990). “In the context of ongoing external pressure on the country, the Day of Russia has gained additional relevance as a symbol of pride in its country, which is the only one on the planet that has openly challenged an unfair world order led by a hegemon,” the recommendations say. “Today’s Russia is a country that is ready to fight for their principles of a just world order. Russia remains an original, successful and sovereign country. All attempts by outside forces to weaken our country have the opposite effect.” It is assumed that the deputies will take part in traditional regional party events on the occasion of this holiday: receptions, presentation of awards and passports to young citizens, congratulations to newborns on this day, etc.

Russia Day is yet to come, and Children’s Day has already been on June 1, but it should also be celebrated, albeit belatedly, according to EP. On this occasion, deputies from the ruling party are advised to hold receptions of citizens on issues of motherhood and childhood at the sites of regional and local public receptions. Parliamentarians are reminded of the importance of citizen feedback, which allows the party to get the necessary information “from the ground”. Moreover, care for the family, protection of motherhood and childhood is “a key direction of the socio-economic policy of the state and the people’s program of the party,” the recommendations emphasize. Information based on the results of communication with voters United Russia is advised to post on social networks.

A source in the party leadership adds that working with the participants in the primaries is indeed one of the important tasks for United Russia: “These people have already plunged into our activities. And now it is important not to lose them, this is our asset. We will also involve them in the formation of election programs, in work within the framework of party projects. Some of them can become assistants to our future deputies.” As for Children’s Day, the source explains that the regional week always involves some thematic receptions of citizens: “And social policy and specifically the issues of motherhood and childhood are one of the key topics for the party. Therefore, we decided to dedicate a series of our techniques to them.
