According to Fontanka, the notifications were genuine, but not entirely accurate. Thus, according to the publication’s source, restaurants are not prohibited from operating in the city center, but in order to get into them, citizens will first need to go through metal detectors in the festivities area. Also, a source in Smolny said that canine activities are also planned, but then it will still be possible to return to the table.
Earlier, city authorities announced the cancellation of the festive concert on Palace Square due to the events in Belgorod.
