Unexpectedly, Anton’s words on the Internet were attributed to the legendary composer Alexander Zatsepin, who actively collaborated with Alla in the Soviet years.

“Of course, I never said anything like that about Alla,” complains 97-year-old Alexander Sergeevich. “To be honest, I didn’t even know she left.” Then, after a while, someone told me about this. She left and left. It’s her business. I don’t talk about Alla at all. Here the confusion arose because of my namesake. By the way, knowing that my surname is common, now I always write my full name and patronymic. So as not to be confused.

Zatsepin admitted that now he is still actively working: composing new music. In his free moments he communicates with close friends. As a rule, by phone.

“To be honest, I’m already afraid to pick up the phone,” the composer laughs. – Because either people unknown to me or some scammers call endlessly. Either they offer to take out the glass, or cure my teeth… I’m so tired of this that now I only pick up calls from familiar numbers.

As for Pugacheva, Zatsepin has not been communicating with her very often lately. Although at one time he wrote her many hits: “This world was not invented by us,” “Where does childhood go,” “Just like everyone else,” “The half-educated wizard.”

“Alla and I rarely talk on the phone lately,” says Alexander Sergeevich. “Probably a year ago we last talked while she was still here.” But we have a good relationship: there are no conflicts or disagreements.
