The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian troops, Valery Zaluzhny, in his Telegram channel reported a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States of America, Charles Brown.
He clarified that they discussed the situation in certain sectors of the front, the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and plans for the winter period.
“In a telephone conversation, I talked about the current situation on the line of combat contact. The hottest areas at the moment are the Maryinsky, Kupyansky and Avdeevsky areas. The situation is controlled, but difficult,” Zaluzhny noted.
According to him, in certain areas the Ukrainian military continues to conduct offensive operations.
Among other things, they discussed plans for the winter period, as well as the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and issues related to restoring the combat capability of units and training military personnel.
