Combat veterans’ certificates were issued to 300 soldiers of the Wagner PMC

The Fund for Supporting Participants in the Special Military Operation “Defenders of the Fatherland” issued about 300 combat veterans’ certificates to soldiers of the private military company “Wagner”. About it TASS said the chairman of the fund, Anna Tsivileva.

According to her, several thousand people have applied for the relevant certificate. “Now this is still Moscow and the Moscow region, but we have already accumulated certificates, we will recruit from various regions, and then as part of our business trip we will come and solemnly present them,” Mrs. Tsivileva clarified.

The Foundation receives certificates from the Ministry of Defense. Applications sent by the fund are reviewed by a specialized commission of the military department. Its creation for issuing certificates to fighters of the Wagner PMC became known in October. As Anna Tsivileva reported, the commission was created on the initiative of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. The first certificates were awarded to the soldiers of the private military company on November 14.
