Rada deputy Bezuglaya demanded that the generals be punished for the failure of the counteroffensive

Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the presidential party “Servant of the People” Maryana Bezuglaya, who previously called on the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to resign due to the lack of an action plan for 2024, came out with new criticism of the Ukrainian generals.
She wrote on social networks that there is no independent assessment of the effectiveness of the operations carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and all her attempts to conduct such an assessment are met with resistance.
“Not a single general has been punished,” Bezuglaya emphasized. She added that dozens of brigade commanders are being removed from their positions, but not a single general has been demoted as a result of an internal investigation.
She also pointed out that neither last year nor in 2023 a defense and offensive plan was drawn up with all risks calculated, and the generals were divided into internal factions. She also emphasized that the military leadership is now a caste that has gained enormous wealth and power.
Bezuglaya blamed the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the failure of the counteroffensive. “We must change the army to win,” she suggested.
