Telegraph: Russia may destroy Starlink satellites helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The British newspaper Telegraph, citing experts, writes in its material that Russia can destroy Starlink satellites in space, owned by Elon Musk, which help Ukrainian troops carry out unmanned strikes on Russian tanks.
One expert explained to reporters that, in terms of the rules of war, the Russians would likely do nothing wrong if they destroyed these satellites, since commercial spacecraft are not covered by the Geneva Convention and can be a legitimate target if used by one of the parties to the conflict.
The expert added that potentially commercial satellites could become a target or an object of attack.
