Reserve Colonel, Professor at the Academy of Military Sciences of the Russian Federation Alexander Tikhansky commented on the White House statement that the Russian army could achieve tactical successes on the Ukrainian front in the coming months.
As the expert noted in interview portal “Ukraina.ru”, Russia can use part of its reserves, create 10-12 offensive groups and bring them into battle in different directions.
According to him, in this case, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will scatter their reserves and if there is nothing to support them, Russian troops will “advance along the entire front.”
Commenting on the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in the Avdeevka area, the colonel noted that the Russian command is trying to carry out operations with as few losses as possible, so the task is to besiege Avdeevka and block the supply routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“If this succeeds, then in a month and a half the enemy will surrender there. This option is more realistic,” the expert emphasized.
