Hamas announced that the Russian Federation is discussing a future region that differs from the US version

The delegation of the Palestinian group Hamas, during a visit to Moscow, discussed with the Russian side a future for the entire region, different from the one proposed by the United States. Member of the movement’s Politburo Abu Marzuk spoke about this told in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“We held meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed everything related to the Palestinian problem, how together we will determine a future for the entire region and humanity, different from the future that the United States paints,” Marzuk said.

He emphasized that Hamas came to Moscow at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Marzuk considers this step by Russia to be a “message to the whole world” that Moscow considers Hamas not terrorist, but a movement that is “waging a war for justice.” According to Marzouk, the war in the region was started by the West, America, Great Britain and France. Israel, according to him, with its actions towards Jerusalem, in the West Bank of Jordan, the blockade of Gaza and its attitude towards the Palestinians, created the conditions for this war.

In the interview, Marzouk also clarified that many countries had contacted Hamas regarding “citizens held in the Gaza Strip,” including “Russian friends.” “We treat this request from Russia more positively and attentively than others, due to the nature of relations with Russia,” Marzuk clarified. He added that Hamas views all hostages as Israelis first and foremost. Appealing to their primary citizenships will not save them, he stressed.

Israeli Foreign Ministry demanded “immediately expel” Hamas from Russia. The ministry noted that Tel Aviv considers inviting representatives of the Palestinian movement to Moscow as an “undignified step.”
