Former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, said that dissatisfaction is growing in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the lack of serious successes during the offensive operation and heavy losses.
He noted on the air of his Youtube channel that even foreign mercenaries who had previously fought zealously on the side of Ukraine gathered their belongings and fled.
“Probably, only the Poles remained,” the former American soldier suggested.
The colonel also expressed the opinion that the situation is close to the fact that due to massive cases of desertion, the Ukrainian troops will be split and defeated. He added that when there are no visible results, then the morale of the military drops and they no longer see the point in continuing the fighting.
