Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law “On Amending Articles 27 and 28 of the Federal Law “On Education in the Russian Federation”, which allows colleges and technical schools to create educational and production complexes in their structure.
Using the material and technical base of these complexes, students will be able to gain practical skills in the production of goods, combining study with work. When receiving a diploma, graduates will have an entry in the work book about the acquired skills.
According to the Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, the law is aimed at improving the financial stability of the colleges themselves, since the production of goods will be organized on the basis of educational and production complexes, and the profits will go to the development of educational organizations and the salaries of students.
